Woods Hole Real Estate

Woods Hole is a village found in the town of Falmouth, Massachusetts. It is located in the far southwest corner of Cape Cod near the Elizabeth Islands and Martha's Vineyard. It is known for its marine science institutions including the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute and often visited by Martha's Vineyard bound ferry riders.

The deep harbor at Woods Hole positioned the village in the 19th-century as a center for whaling, shipping and fishing. At the beginning of the twentieth-century, Woods Hole transformed into a desirable second home market for prominent Boston and New York families. Today waterfront and waterview homes in Woods Hole are among the most sought after housing on Cape Cod.
