Waquoit Real Estate
Waquoit is a historic village in southeastern Falmouth, Massachusetts, situated at the head of Waquoit Bay between East Falmouth and Mashpee. The Bay features 2,700 acres of open waters, marshlands and barrier beaches and is fronted by the visitor center which sits atop a 30 foot bluff in a former 1880s mansion. The nearby Waquoit Bay Yacht Club is a mainstay of the community, offering a year-round social program for boaters of all ages.
Extending along Route 28, Waquoit is largely residential and was named to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. Waquoit combines a serene, private setting dotted with historic homes as well as newer single-family lots with easy access to the beaches, golf, and shopping/dining options at nearby Mashpee Commons.
