Truro Antique Homes

truro antique homes - truro ma

Truro was originally settled in the 1690s as part of the Town of Eastham.  In 1709 Truro separated and formally incorporated as a town.  Truro draws its name from the English town with the same name in the Cornwall area.  Early Truro industries included fishing and ship building, but these markets never prospered due to the challenging tides of the Outer Cape.  Truro is fortunate that many homes dating back to earlier centuries still endure and are prized by their owners.
