Toms Neck Chatham

Tom’s Neck is an area of Chatham just south of the Chatham Lighthouse that surrounded by bodies of water including Mill Pond, Stage Harbor, Outermost Harbor and Chatham Harbor.  The infamous Chatham Loop includes a section of Tom’s Neck along Bridge Street with its historic Cape Cod style homes.  Tom’s Neck was one of the earliest parts of Chatham to be settled when Samuel Smith of Eastham purchased it in 1691 from the Monomoyick Tribe.
