The 1850
The 1850 in Boston’s South End is a former 19th-century piano factory that was converted to condos in 2006. Today the 5-story building is home to 60 loft condos that preserve much of its original charm while delivering modern conveniences.
Vaulted ceilings and open floor plans combine with exposed brick and beams and polished concrete floors. Contemporary kitchens with European cabinetry and stainless appliances complete the package. The 1850 welcomes pets with some restrictions and maintains an elevator for residents for added convenience.
