South Orleans Real Estate

South Orleans is a quiet area of town consisting primarily of small to mid-size single family residences. Many of the homes were built in the 1960s and 70s, but the community also counts antique homes and large, modern waterfront homes within its boundaries. It is difficult to drive far in South Orleans without encountering one of the many small kettle ponds scattered around the area, including Uncle Seth's Pond, and Quanset Pond.  These gems provide freshwater alternatives to the saltwater beaches and are the source of many a refreshing dip in their clear waters.

The center of South Orleans is the intersection of Route 28, Route 39 and Quanset Road.
