Sheep Pond Brewster
Sheep Pond is a 138 acre, irregularly shaped fresh water kettle pond located just north of Long Pond, and south of Route 137 in West Brewster. With an average depth of 29 feet, and a maximum depth of 63 feet, the pond is a popular choice for those looking for a salt water alternative. Sheep Pond is stocked with trout each spring by National Fisheries and Wildlife. The 2.6 miles of hilly shoreline are heavily wooded in most areas, with light to modest residential development.
Sheep Pond offers a paved boat ramp and a small parking lot. To find the pond, follow Route 6 to Exit 10, take Route 124 north for 2 miles, then turn right on to Fishermans Landing Road.
