Seconsett Island is located in the southeast part of Mashpee and is bounded by Falmouth to the northwest, Hamblin Pond to the northeast, the Little River to the east and Waquoit Bay to the west. Monomoscoy Island is located on the far bank of the Little River to the west. Access to Seconsett Island is from Falmouth via Meadow Neck Road.

Just over 140 homes are located on Seconsett Island including many waterfront homes with private boat docks. Boating access to the open waters of Nantucket Sound is via Waquoit Bay.  Seconsett Island offers convenient access to the popular South Cape Beach, shopping and restaurants at Mashpee Commons, the Children’s Museum, Edward Gorey House, and the Museums on the Green.
