Sandwich is a historic town located on the northeast corner of Cape Cod at the east end of the Cape Cod Canal. The oldest town on Cape Cod, Sandwich was settled in 1637 and initially was known as a “safe haven” for ships. The town later gained fame for the elegant glassware produced in the 1800s.

Today Sandwich is a year-round Cape community with its close proximity to the Sagamore Bridge. Home to six beaches along the shores of Cape Cod Bay, Sandwich housing includes a mix of beach cottages as well as historic homes nestled among antique stores, art galleries, and fine dining options.
