The French-styled Mirbeau Inn & Spa offers a full menu of spa and salon services as well as luxurious touches such as an aromatherapy steam room and drink service at the outdoor whirlpool. In between massages and facials, residents and guests can unwind in front of a crackling fireplace or stroll the Monet-inspired gardens complete with footbridge. In addition to the yoga, fitness classes and personal training available at the Stonebridge Club, residents can also take advantage of the miles of leafy walking and hiking trails that meander through the property. A 77-acre pond is ideal for a kayak or canoe ride.

Golfing at The Pinehills

The Pinehills is home to Pinehills Golf Club, with two public 18-hole championship courses designed by Rees Jones and Nicklaus Design. Each course provides meticulously maintained greens as well as challenging holes for players of all levels. Both courses, as well as a Clubhouse for cocktails, lunch, and events, are open to the public. For those who prefer a private club, Old Sandwich Golf Club is ranked 38th in the country and open to members only. Designed by Bill Moore and Ben Crenshaw, the Old Sandwich course features many elevation changes, abundant sand deposits and a mix of pine and blueberry undergrowth.

Dining at The Pinehills

There are seven dining locations within The Pinehills, each with their own flavor, style and delivery. Options include a casual, family-owned Italian restaurant, a breakfast and lunch cafe, a bistro & wine bar at the elegant Mirbeau spa, and a garden bar with wood fired pizza oven. Options for the true foodie include a farm-to-table experience at historic Rye Tavern, complete with its own farmer, the East Bay Grille at Pinehills Golf Club is another favorite of residents and guests,  as well as the kitchen at The Market, a high-end grocery with chef-directed dishes and other take-home delicacies.

Community Life at The Pinehills

Residents at The Pinehills feel connected so the 90 or so clubs available are simply an extension of residents' enthusiasm for sharing interests and passions with their neighbors. Clubs range from a book lovers’ group to a kayaking club to an Art Studio, Writers’ Circle, and regular meeting of musicians for jam sessions. In addition to housing a fitness center, Has-Tru tennis courts and two pools, the Stonebridge Club also offers a variety of classes throughout the year.
