Pilgrim Monument
The Pilgrim Monument is located in Provincetown on a parcel bounded by Bradford Street, Winslow Street and High Pole Road. The Provincetown Public School is located to the west of this location and the Provincetown Museum and a baseball field are found to the north.
The Pilgrim Monument was built in 1910 to commemorate the first landfall of the Pilgrims and the signing of the Mayflower Compact in Providence Harbor in 1620. The 252 foot tall monument is open to the public and offers outstanding views of the Outer Cape from the top.
