Orleans Road Chatham
Orleans Road, also known as Massachusetts State Route 28, runs in Chatham from the northeast Harwich border where it crosses over the Muddy Creek to the intersection with with Old Harbor Road and Shore Road. At this intersection Route 28 continues in Chatham along Old Harbor Road and then Main Street. Orleans Road in Chatham passes some notable landmarks including the Eastward Ho Country Club, Ryder Cove, the Chatham Marconi Maritime Center and Frost Fish Creek. Both commercial and residential property are located along this State Highway that received this designation in 1926. Many businesses are clustered along Orleans Road in North Chatham near the intersection with Stoney Hill Road.
