Long Pond Brewster
Long Pond is the largest fresh water pond on Cape Cod. The pond approximately 715-acres in size and has over six miles of shore line. Approximately half of the shore line in in the town of Brewster, with the other half being in Harwich. The average dept of the pond is over 20 feet, and the maximum dept is over 60 feet.
Long Pond is surrounded by many large luxury homes, most with private docks, and remarkable views of the large pond. The pond is used by residents and visitors for all types of outdoor water activities including boating, fishing, sailing, and swimming. Long Pond can be found by taking the Rte. 124 (Pleasant Lake Ave.) north exit off of Rte. 6 for about one half of a mile.
