Lighthouse Beach Chatham
Lighthouse Beach is located in Chatham off Main Street just north of Bridge Road. One of Chatham’s most treasured locations, Lighthouse Beach is a must see stop on any tour of Chatham. The views from the parking lot along Main Street of the wide beach and waters beyond are spectacular. South Beach is located adjacent to Lighthouse Beach and offers remote serenity as it extends southward towards Monomoy Island.
The beach is located across the street from the Chatham Lighthouse, an iron lighthouse that has helped guide mariners into Chatham Harbor for many years. Lighthouse Beach is located directly across the Harbor from the Chatham Break, where the ocean broke the lower end of Nauset Beach in 1987.
