Hinckleys Pond Harwich
Hinckleys Pond is a 171-acre kettle pond located in Harwich that drains into the Herring River. Also known as "Pleasant Lake," and named for an early settler who maintained a nearby farm, the pond is ideal for fishing and supports the launch of small boats, kayaks and canoes. The 1.7 miles of shoreline are not as developed as other pond communities, offering small single family capes and cottages, some with their own docks, nestled between cranberry bogs and a beach.
Situated south of Seymour Pond, Hinckleys Pond can be reached by taking exit 10 from Route 6 and heading north on 124. Access to the pond is from a dirt road on the western side.
