Hamblin Pond - Marstons Mills
Hamblin Pond is a freshwater kettle pond located in the Barnstable village of Marstons Mills. The pond draws its name from the Hamblin family who formerly lived in this area for many generations. This 119-acre pond is one of three ponds located in close proximity that are known as the Indian Ponds. The 1.9 mile shoreline of Hamblin Pond is moderately developed with single-family homes. A sandy public beach for Barnstable residents is located off Cotuit Road, south of Old Falmouth Road.
