Follins Pond Dennis
Follins Pond is a medium-sized body of water just north of Kellys Bay and the Bass River. Local folklore ties Follins Pond to an early Viking settlement, which is remembered by several of the surrounding street names. The pond is brackish, which is a mixture of both fresh and pure seawater. The majority of the waterfront is in the town Yarmouth, with approximately 25% of the waterfront in South Dennis. To reach Follins Pond take Old Bass River Road to Mayfair Road, then turn left on Follins Bay Road.
