Falmouth Real Estate
Falmouth is a coastal town on the southwestern, or upper portion of Cape Cod. Recognized as one of the best walking towns on Cape Cod with a long Main Street set against a backdrop of charming shops, Falmouth also is known for Falmouth Heights Beach, a picturesque sweep of sand on the Nantucket Sound.
With its close proximity to Woods Hole where ferries run regularly to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket, Falmouth makes it easy to sample island life. Woods Hole is also home to the world-renowned Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute as well as the iconic Nobska Lighthouse at the town’s southern tip.
As one of the few Cape resort towns that stays open year-round, Falmouth’s villages each offer various lifestyle options from beachfront homes to neighborhoods that are closer to town and other amenities. North Falmouth and Hatchville are a short drive from the Bourne Bridge, well-positioned for commuters to Boston or Providence.
