East Hingham
East Hingham is a collection of some of Hingham’s most desirable waterfront neighborhoods. Anchored by the World’s End community, East Hingham also includes the Rockwood area, East Street, Chamberlain Run/Eastgate Lane, and Ringbolt Farm. While the community boasts easy access to Route 3, the area has a quiet, residential feel, away from the buzz of town and overlooking water and conservation lands on its borders. Ringbolt Farm was a 50-acre farm developed in the 1970s into just 22 generously proportioned homes on large lots, including the original saltbox colonial that was part of the farm. The area was specifically zoned to preserve 20 acres as open spaces with many of the homes overlooking the Weir River estuary.
Professionals working in Downtown Boston take advantage of the commuter boat located at the nearby Shipyard location for scenic rides into work.
