What’s So Special About the Quinn?
As one of the South End’s most anticipated new properties, construction on The Quinn is pushing ahead. Plans call for around 100 new condos when the building is complete, along with some ground level commercial space and under-building parking.
The 14-story building is one of the latest additions to the New York Streets neighborhood. New buyers of the luxury condos can expect to gain large, floor-to-ceiling windows with some impressive views of Downtown Boston and the Back Bay.
Other upscale features and finishes include custom oak cabinetry and white oak flooring. The homes will also offer gas burning fireplaces, marble baths, built-in wine coolers and an array of high-end appliances.
Typically, the floor plans of The Quinn range from less than 600 square feet to around 2,700 square feet of living space. Available designs start with a junior one-bedroom, but buyers can also choose a two-, three- or even four-bedroom unit with walk-in closets and custom built-ins.
Some of the units come with a roof cabana and outdoor kitchen. Shared amenities, meanwhile, include an indoor swimming pool and a rooftop terrace.
In addition, the property will offer 24-hour concierge service. The building is additionally set to make space for a work lounge and a dining room for private dinners and wine tastings.
A large fitness center is yet another amenity that’s sure to be a favorite of those living at The Quinn. As part of this, plans call for the addition of a climbing wall, sauna and squash court.
The first residents could begin moving in as early as sometime later this year. Until then, construction progresses on the property. Earlier this summer crews worked on the building’s façade and finished installing some of the building’s windows.
The boutique development sits on Harrison Avenue. It joins a popular part of Boston that’s already known for its vibrant arts scene, its unique restaurants and chic boutiques.
