Boston is full of history and charm, and that certainly comes across in photographs. If you’re searching for some of the most instagrammable places in the city to visit, here are a few to try out:
Boston Public Garden
One of the most scenic spots in Boston, especially during the warmer months of the year, is Boston Public Garden. While you’re there, be sure to check out the famous swan boats or snap a photo with the bridge. During the springtime, the garden is in full bloom with tulips, while roses take center stage in the summer.
Beacon Hill
There’s no mistaking you’re in Boston when you snap a pic on Beacon Hill. As the city’s most photographed neighborhood, this is the place to go to find cobblestone streets and secret gardens. Acorn Street is especially popular with tourists, so be sure to claim your spot early.
Boston Harbor
If you want to capture some city views from the waterfront, you cannot go wrong with Boston Harbor. This is a good place to grab all kinds of special pics, and it is certainly Instagram ready! While you probably won’t be the only one who’s thought of the spot, there are plenty of great places to strike a pose in the city’s historic harbor.
Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
One place that’s a bit more secluded is the courtyard of Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Take an Instagram worthy photo in one of the archways, or just take a stroll through the constantly changing plants and florals. Just outside of the downtown area, the museum is also a good place to see hundreds of unique pieces of artwork.
Commonwealth Avenue Mall
Another quiet setting is Commonwealth Avenue Mall in the Back Bay. The summer brings blooms of flowers to the area, while the fall brings about its own vibrancy. There are plenty of monuments, trees, and historic buildings to include in your photos along the way.
