The prestigious new Redbrook community in Plymouth may still be under construction, but it’s already picked up dozens of awards. The community recently took home another six builder awards from The Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Boston.

The six Prism Awards include gold awards for Best Ad Campaign and Best Team of the Year.  It also took home a gold award for Best Interior Merchandising for a model home under $650,000 and a gold award for Best Attached Home Under 2,000 square feet. Both of model homes were constructed by The Stabile Companies.

The community additionally went home with a silver award for Best Attached Home Under 1,800 square feet for a townhome constructed by Whitman Homes. It also received a silver award for Best

For a dazzling winter hike near Boston, consider taking a stroll along the scenic trails of South Shore. The New York Times recently named World’s End in Hingham one of the nation’s most worthwhile places to escape the city this winter.

World’s End is a more than 250-acre park and conservation area. It’s described as the kind of place to go for a winter stroll, or even to cross-country ski or snowshoe when the weather cooperates.

The Times specifically recommends the view from Planter’s Hill. Formed by glaciers, the spoon-shaped hills of World’s End jut out into Hingham Harbor.

When it comes to real estate, there are certain suburbs that simply offer more bang for the buck. In the Boston area, one of those is Hanover.

The suburb recently ranked as one of’s top ten suburbs for getting more home for less. Analysts looked at the size of the home and the price, then came up with a best size-to-price ratio.

The suburbs the website listed were not necessarily the most affordable towns. Instead, considered places where you could get the most space when compared to other suburbs in the same city.

For new construction in less than three months, consider the quick delivery homes being sold right now in Sawyer’s Reach. This new community of condos, townhomes and single-family homes is currently under construction in Plymouth.

The development consists of five buildings of condos, around 40 townhomes and 20 single-family homes. Priced starting from the mid $300,000s to the mid $400,000s, the condos of Sawyer’s Reach typically range from around 800 to nearly 1400 square feet of living space.

The Cotuit I floor plan is currently listed for a February delivery date. The floor plan includes two-bedrooms and two-baths, with around 1,000 square feet of living space.

A massive urban revitalization project is underway, as proponents finally push ahead on remaking Quincy Center with housing, retailers, restaurants and commercial space. More residences and restaurants have already opened up, as leaders embark on making a more vibrant and livelier downtown.

It’s been decades in the making for the up-and-coming area. A few years ago, city leaders began really focusing on making the revitalization of Quincy Center a top priority.

The efforts are aimed at remaking Quincy Center into a place for people to work, live, shop and eat. A few years ago, the city imposed a new traffic pattern, essentially helping to make room for the new Hancock-Adams Green.

If you’re searching for a great place to live in the Boston area, is placing its bets on Braintree. The Massachusetts town was recently named one of the top 50 places to live in the nation.

The Money website ranks Braintree high when it comes to its annual “Best Places to Live in America” list. The website started with cities and towns including at least 25,000 residents, then filtered out lower income towns and those with high crime rates.

Money also took out towns without much ethnic diversity. When they were finished, they took a closer look at the nearly 1,900 communities on their list and began factoring in a variety of data points.
