Our Favorite Harwich Restaurants
From succulent seafood to pleasantly prepared Tuscan-style delights, you’ll find plenty of impressive restaurants in Harwich to choose from. Whether dining out to celebrate a special occasion or for simply a memorable night, we’re revealing some of our very favorite Harwich restaurants.
Twenty Eight Atlantic
Our first stop offers a blend of eclectic and luxurious accommodations right on the waterfront. Twenty Eight Atlantic is the signature restaurant of Wequassett Resort. Known for its top-notch service and delectable cuisine, Twenty Eight Atlantic serves mostly seafood and American-style food, open every day of the week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The upscale location also includes a private dining room with an outdoor veranda, offering fantastic water views. You’ll find the restaurant right along Route 28 in Harwich near Pleasant Bay Road. Reservations are accepted.
The Cape Sea Grille
With a consistently changing menu, The Cape Sea Grille is about as close to the water’s edge as you can get. Found inside a 19th century sea captain’s residence, the restaurant is elegant, yet relaxed, with an extensive wine list and a special 3-course prix fixe menu.
Located just off Route 28, you can also likely catch the restaurant’s food truck, parked just across from Saquatucket Harbor. The main location of Cape Sea Grille is open most nights for dinner and cocktails, but the days and hours vary somewhat by season, so be sure to check ahead.
Buca’s Tuscan Roadhouse
Feel like you’ve just arrived in Italy when you enter Buca’s Tuscan Roadhouse. Although the restaurant looks like a traditional Cape Cod residence on the outside, the interior feels like a half-a-world away.
Buca’s is open all year-round for dinner, with take out service also available. Expect to find traditional Tuscan-style cuisine on the menu, along with an extensive wine list. The restaurant is located along Depot Road in Harwich.
Viera
For a selection of fresh Dennis oysters on the half shelf, sautéed salmon or braised short ribs, head to Viera. While the menu is not large, this West Harwich restaurant is modern and inviting, with an open window into the kitchen while the chefs create your meal. The location also has full wine and specialty drink menus.
Located along Route 28, Viera is open for dinner every night but Sunday and Monday.
No matter which location you choose, you are sure to have a fantastic meal as you explore some of the best restaurants that Harwich has to offer.
