Live the 5-star Life at the InterContinental
With high-end amenities and luxury appointments, it’s easy to live the 5-star life at The InterContinental. Officially referred to as The Residences at The InterContinental, the upscale condos are part of the same tower that hosts the 5-star, InterContinental Boston hotel.
In all, there are 130 luxury condos in the glass building, and residents have access to the same world-class amenities and lifestyle services as hotel guests. This means 24-hour concierge service, 24-hour valet, and a 24-hour doorman.
The building also includes an indoor heated swimming pool, a full-service spa with treatment rooms, and a fitness center. There’s even 24-hour room service available, maid service, and pet care.
In addition, the building offers function rooms and restaurants for dining close to home. Many of the residences of The InterContinental additionally include designated parking and storage space. Originally built in the mid 2000s, the waterfront building includes condos starting on the 14th floor.
The lower floors of the building include the hotel rooms and restaurants. Because the waterfront building sits right on Boston Harbor, it gives residents a front row seat to sweeping views of the waterfront and the city. Occasionally units in the building will come up for lease or for sale.
Prospective residents sometimes have their choice of a studio, one-bedroom, or three-bedroom layout. There are also sometimes penthouse units available in the building. A recently listed studio offers around 400 square feet of living space, while a three-bedroom corner residence on the market includes upwards of 3,300 square feet of living space.
There’s also the option of a recently listed penthouse in the building with floor-to-ceiling windows, a private rooftop terrace, and well upwards of 4,700 square feet of space. New and prospective residents can also expect to find hardwood floors, as well as sometimes custom cabinetry, top appliances, electric shades, and other desirable upgrades.
