Belmont’s Views of the Nantucket Sound are the Best Amenity in Harwich

A lot of residential communities tout their own plentiful amenities, but for one particular Harwich community, it’s the views of Nantucket Sound that are perhaps the best amenity of all. The Belmont is both a seasonal and year-round complex that exists between Nantucket Sound and the Herring River in West Harwich.

This means some unparalleled views and access to the waterfront. The Belmont has its own private beach with a boardwalk. In addition, you’ll find a sheltered, heated community swimming pool and some privately owned cabanas, which overlook the sandy beach.

The entire development actually sits on nearly two-dozen acres of ocean and riverfront land. Along with the beach and the views, you’ll also find tennis courts on the property, weekly bocce ball tournaments, a playground, and some on-site dining at The Belmont’s private club and lounge.

Buyers can choose from mid-rise condos or multi-level townhomes at The Belmont. Most of the single-story condos exist as part of mid-rise buildings overlooking views of Nantucket Sound, the Herring River, and Monomoy Island.

These are one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, which come with either nearby deeded parking, or with the convenience of underground building parking. The smallest units typically start at around 1,200 square feet of living space and include either courtyard or ocean views.

There are also some larger two-bedroom units that are ocean facing, as well as some even more spacious three-bedroom units. These are front to back units, so they enjoy both ocean and courtyard facing views. There are additionally some three-level townhomes in The Belmont.

They come with front and back patios or courtyards, plus a private garage. While they include up to nearly 2,300 square feet of living space in some cases, the townhomes may potentially include even more space, as some of the units have finished basements.
