Billington Sea is a neighborhood located in the west side of Plymouth that is centered around a 269-acre freshwater kettle pond. The pond has a 7.3 mile shoreline that is lightly developed on the western and souther borders. The 200-acre Morton Park borders the northern shoreline of Billington Sea and is the largest park in Plymouth. The expansive Billington Sea is a popular location for kayaking, canoeing and freshwater fishing.
The Billington Sea neighborhood is located southwest of the Samoset Street Exit (Exit 6) off MA Rt 3. Main thoroughfares in the neighborhood include 7 Hills Road, Black Cat Road and Samoset Street. This location offers convenient access to the Kingston MBTA Commuter Rail Station which serves Downtown Boston as well as historic Plymouth Center.
