Bank Street Harwich
Bank Street is located in Harwich and runs in a north-south direction from Main Street by the library and Brooks Park to Nantucket Sound in Harwich Port. The popular Bank Street Beach on Nantucket Sound has drawn generations of vacationing Cape families with its pristine white sand, warm gentle waters, in-season lifeguards and more. The Bank Street Bogs Nature Preserve is a 60-acre conservation area located south of the bank Street and Gorham Road intersection that offers a two-mile hike through cranberry bogs. Dating back to the mid-19th century, many of the homes along Bank Street are over 150 years old and offer a glimpse into the Harwich of forefathers.
